    Lebensdauer vom Handy-Akku optimieren  Ein Leben ohne Smartphone? Kaum noch vorstellbar. Doch wenn der Akku mit der Zeit nachlässt, ist der Spaß häufig vorbei – und ein neues Gerät muss her. Vor allem dann, wenn der Handy-Akku wie bei so vielen Herstellern, nicht mehr auszubauen und durch einen neuen Akku zu ersetzen ist.   Früher wurde geraten, Handy-Akkus komplett zu entleeren und dann in einem durchgehenden Ladevorgang wieder vollständig aufzuladen, um ihre Lebensdauer zu maximieren. Wenn Nutzer ihre Geräte jedoch wiederholt nicht leer, sondern teilweise aufgeladen an das Stromnetz anschlossen, führte dies bei den damals vorwiegend genutzten Nickel-Cadmium-Akkus zum sogenannten Memory-Effekt.   Mit der Zeit schienen sich die Akkus an den geringeren Energiebedarf zu „erinnern“, was zu einer Verringerung ihrer Kapazität führte. Dies wiederum zwang Handynutzer dazu, ihre Geräte häufiger aufzuladen, wodurch in manchen Fällen die Akkus unbrauchbar wurden.    Was ist der Memory-Effekt?  In heutigen Smartphones sind Lithium-Ionen-Akkus verbaut, bei denen kein Memory-Effekt auftritt. Und deshalb gilt bei ihnen auch nicht, was bei den Nickel-Cadmium Akkus galt. Ganz im Gegenteil: Lithium-Ionen-Akkus sollten weder komplett entleert noch komplett aufgeladen werden. Stattdessen lautet die Empfehlung, Lithium-Ionen-Akkus idealerweise zwischen 20 und 80 Prozent Aufladung zu halten, um vorzeitigen Verschleiß zu verhindern.   Doch was ist der Memory-Effekt genau? Er war vor allem in den 80er und 90er Jahren ein Thema, als Nickel-Cadmium- und Nickel-Metall-Hydrid-Akkus verwendet wurde. Beide Akkuarten merkten sich, wie lange ein Handy geladen wurde. Dadurch verschlechterte sich die gesamte Akkuleistung dauerhaft. Fakt ist: Der Memory-Effekt kommt bei den heutigen Lithium-Ionen-Akkus, die in Smartphones, Tablets und Notebooks verbaut werden, nicht mehr zum Tragen. Davon abgesehen sollten Sie aber unbedingt die Finger von der so genannten Neukonditionierung lassen. Damit wird der Versuch bezeichnet, den Smartphone-Akku zu trainieren, indem man das Gerät beispielsweise 24 Stunden am Stück anschließt und diesen Vorgang diverse Male wiederholt. Das hat bei den früher verwendeten Nickel-Cadmium-Akkus funktioniert, wirkt sich auf Lithium-Ionen-Akkus aber eher negativ aus.  Handy-Akku schnell leer? Falsches Laden als Grund Ob Nickel-Cadmium- oder Lithium-Ionen-Akku  – laden Sie den Akku Ihres Smartphones falsch, wird er enorm belastet. Beim Lithium-Ionen-Akku ist das der Fall, wenn er weniger als 20 Prozent oder mehr als 80 Prozent Akkuleistung hat. Die goldene Mitte zwischen 20 Prozent und 80 Prozent ist es also, mit der Sie Ihren Smartphone-Akku bestmöglich positiv beeinflussen.   Vermeiden Sie unbedingt sehr kurze Ladezeiten bei einem sehr niedrigen oder einem sehr hohen Akku-Ladestand. Ihr Handy weiterhin am Ladegerät zu lassen, obwohl die 100 Prozent längst erreicht sind, wirkt sich ebenfalls langfristig negativ auf die Akkuleistung Ihres Smartphones aus.   Daraus folgt, dass Sie Ihr Handy nicht über Nacht am Ladegerät lassen sollten, denn dadurch überschreiten Sie die nötige Ladedauer auf jeden Fall. Und das gilt natürlich auch für Ihr beruflich genutztes Diensthandy. Der Handy-Akku wird es Ihnen danken.    Augen auf beim Smartphone-Ladekabel  Um die Menge an Elektroschrott möglichst gering zu halten, gibt es ab 2024 nicht nur den einheitlichen USB-C-Anschluss, sondern werden dann vielleicht keine Ladegeräte und Ladekabel mehr der Verpackung beigelegt. Wer nun auf die Idee kommt, beim Online-Händler seiner Wahl ein Schnäppchen zu machen, anstatt das Original zu kaufen, dem kann das Einsparen einiger Euros in diesem Fall teuer zu stehen kommen.   Online-Händler bieten eine riesige Auswahl an nachgemachten Smartphone-Netzteilen oder anderen Komponenten. Diese werden oft in China oder anderen Teilen Asiens hergestellt und sind wesentlich günstiger als die Original-Netzteile von Apple, Samsung, HTC usw.   Vorsicht ist allerdings bei den Super-Schnäppchen geboten. Sie können von minderer Qualität sein und Defizite in der Elektronik aufweisen. Es drohen: Strom- und Spannungsprobleme, die Plastik-Komponenten bei starker Erwärmung schmelzen lassen, Kabel freilegen, Kurzschlüsse verursachen oder sogar dem Smartphone selbst bzw. seinem Besitzer massiven Schaden zufügen.
