These sweet personalized wedding welcome gifts for a Colorado mountainside wedding featured the couple’s pets for an unforgettable greeting. From the moment the wedding guests opened the beautiful welcome gift boxes they were amazed with a unique gift design that helped to tell the couple’s love story. Each guest who traveled from out of state received one the personalized wedding welcome gifts for this Colorado wedding.
Our goal was to create custom welcome gifts in lieu of of favors to share the couple’s appreciation for their closest family and friends who traveled to attend their wedding in the Colorado mountains. They also wanted their wedding gifts to reflect their beautiful mountain view venue while also coordinating with their wedding colors of dusty blue and white.
Using their own love story as inspiration, we designed memorable wedding welcome gifts with nods to the Colorado mountains and the couple’s two pet dogs. We packed each gift full of useful keepsakes, comforting amenities, and gourmet food items guests would enjoy sourced from places that are special to the couple.
PERSONALIZED PET THEMED CUSTOM WEDDING WELCOME GIFT
Designing a personalized gift that told the couple's love story was fun from start to finish. The couple met in Denver and call Michigan and Texas their home states. They also share two dogs together who bring them so much joy. These details of their lives were very important to incorporate into the wedding welcome gift designs.
To coordinate with their wedding color palette, we custom designed their wedding welcome gifts using ivory, white and a touch of dusty blue. To reflect their wedding venue and Colorado mountainside location into these wedding welcome boxes, we included an altitude amenity kit packaged in a drawstring bag and personalized with a mountain scape. Guests were greeted with the cutest set of two mini custom decorated dog cookies designed to represent the couple’s two pups!
Also included in the gift boxes for guests to enjoy were super cocoa energy bars from a Michigan based company, and ginger lemon sparkling tonic waters, coconut caramels, and savory vegan trail mix from Texas based companies. For a chic keepsake wedding guests could enjoy beyond the wedding weekend, we included a wildflower themed soy wax tin candle and custom foil printed matchbook.
Guests traveling to Colorado for the destination wedding were greeted with the custom wedding welcome gifts upon their arrival to their hotel room. Included in the personalized gift boxes was a heartfelt welcome letter from the couple welcoming guests to Boulder, Colorado with a helpful welcome message, a special note about the location’s altitude, transportation information and a listing of all events for the wedding weekend.
It’s the personalized and intentional details in the custom wedding welcome gifts that make recipients smile. They felt cared for and appreciated, and the tone was set for the weekend.
